I mean, wow, what a refreshing change of perspective. I really wish tokusatsu fandom was more like this - you like what you like, and what you don't like you just ignore. Baaaaaawing about the ~pritti bois~ is not gonna change anything, so what's even the point.

But this weekend was pretty productive for me on LJ, specially considering I spent most of it over at FISL (International Open Source Software Forum) watching awesome panels about PHP and Ruby and Python (lions and tigers and bears oh my!) and technically had NO TIME for anything else. (lol yeah)

Anyway. Inspired by the Suga picspam from the other day, gekidasa, amamiyarin and yours truly went crazy and launched

A place for posting about toku actors, which has been kind of a dream community for me for a while. Sure you could post about Channaka in d_boys and you could post about KatoKei in pureboys, and you could post about everyone and their moms at any of the 3549817 Tenimyu comms, but where could you post about Handa Kento? Or Sainei Ryuji? Or Bakki? Hide? Uchi? Or you know, all those hot dudes who are not a part of their own band of merry ikemen? Why of course, at henshin_heroes! Also of note, yours truly and Comrade Perestroika-sensei have taken over moderation of kazuki13. We gave it a full makeover, tagged the bitch into next week and will start laying down the hammer. This comm was once a great resource post for Kazuki fans, and I'd love to see it go back to that. Hopefully seeing the place is not abandoned to the roaches anymore will encourage people to become active again and we can give off a warmer vibe as overseas fans than this sense of apathy Kiki's fandom in general seems to have fallen into.
